Miss Cordiality

KK has  many names and I also like to give her a full form of her short name as Kashmir ki Kali!

hmmm. some 4 & 1/2 years ago in a corner of a huge airfield where AoL’s Silver Jubilee celebrations were going on, she stood in a saree and waved. I recalled having met her in other normal attires in a group dance we performed shortly before that. And so we kept in contact.

When Bawa introduced many yesplus teachers, he introduced KK as, she is just love!

First one in my circle of friends, this wonder-full girl walked out of “normal” career options and courageously plunged into the unknown and did fantastic service.

Pretty much scholarly girl, KK knows good amount of Sanskrit and can recite stotras. She is becoming Saraswati with eight hands, one holding Kriya tape, another holding YES!+ Manual, third and fourth for CST(cranio-saccaral-therapy ….),fifth and sixth for cooking dosa and rassam, seventh for blessing, and eighth for mobile phone with 1000+ contacts and some other things.  🙂

Wait for me to introduce Durga and Lakshmi to you.

Her life is totally unpredictable, and nobody including herself knows what is going to happen in next few days or even few hours. The magic is, the things still fall in place.

Among other things, she taught me that one should simply love oneself first.

Don’t know when she became impossibly beautiful. She was quite simple until sometime ago, until she mastered some skills good enough that now she can even teach those in a dramatics school. Yes, Miss Cordiality does have high volume verbal fights, but the fights don’t last long. My fights with her include my high pitta explosion and she acting as a fire brigade. 🙂

She did all she possibly could, to make me finish my work, excluding pulling my ears and hair.

I saw the Avatar movie with her and other friends. It was a great time.

A highly spiritual girl. She has lot of fan following and bodyguards. 🙂

Now she is grown up and getting married. Bon Voyage to KK and Prasanna, on their journey through life!

Good people do exist!

I had lost my wallet today evening.

Knowing nothing as what to do as to recover it, I just left its thought after searching it everywhere. Went on to Ashram, returned. I was about to go to sleep, and then, I get a call on my room mate’s number!!

A person who found the wallet on the local phone call booth had called me up. It was 12.20 in the night, and I was thrilled to have found the wallet. we exchanged address, and immediately met. It turned out that I had forgotten my wallet at a public coin booth near my house ! Shivakumar, the angel, had visited the booth after me and found it. Instead of giving to shop keeper, he decided to take responsibility and give it to me himself!! He called up my number from one bill in the wallet.

I had no words to thank him, and I have one more friend now.

Its highly incredible incidence. I think its all grace. Imagine a wallet with  Rs. 1200+ cash lying on a roadside coin booth. Its as good as lost forever. It found its way back to me thanks to this gentleman. Such good people do exist!

The divine must have done what all arrangements to make sure this happened. He got the right person there. I had to go to laundry today only, to collect a bill which will have my contact number, as otherwise there is no trace of contact in the wallet…!

This is India. This can happen in India! People who care for others. People who take responsibility for others. I am just loving it! 🙂

Happy Independence!

Happy Independence to all Indians and all good wishers of India!! 🙂

Enjoy the freedom and breathe easy. And recall all those who breathed their last for this moment.

Don’t celebrate only this day today, but every moment of freedom in this country.

May this be the moment of freedom for the entire mankind too, from misery, poverty, ignorance and illness, as India is the stronghold of spirituality and epitome of harmony in diversity.

May all those be free, who want to be.

Bharat Mata ki Jay !!

Mother, I bow to thee!
Rich with thy hurrying streams,
bright with orchard gleams,
Cool with thy winds of delight,
Dark fields waving Mother of might,
Mother free.
Glory of moonlight dreams,
Over thy branches and lordly streams,
Clad in thy blossoming trees,
Mother, giver of ease
Laughing low and sweet!
Mother I kiss thy feet,
Speaker sweet and low!
Mother, to thee I bow.

Who hath said thou art weak in thy lands
When the sword flesh out in the seventy million hands
And seventy million voices roar
Thy dreadful name from shore to shore?
With many strengths who art mighty and stored,
To thee I call Mother and Lord!
Though who savest, arise and save!
To her I cry who ever her foeman drove
Back from plain and Sea
And shook herself free.

Thou art wisdom, thou art law,
Thou art heart, our soul, our breath
Though art love divine, the awe
In our hearts that conquers death.
Thine the strength that nerves the arm,
Thine the beauty, thine the charm.
Every image made divine
In our temples is but thine.

Thou art Durga, Lady and Queen,
With her hands that strike and her
swords of sheen,
Thou art Lakshmi lotus-throned,
And the Muse a hundred-toned,
Pure and perfect without peer,
Mother lend thine ear,
Rich with thy hurrying streams,
Bright with thy orchard gleems,
Dark of hue O candid-fair

In thy soul, with jewelled hair
And thy glorious smile divine,
Lovilest of all earthly lands,
Showering wealth from well-stored hands!
Mother, mother mine!
Mother sweet, I bow to thee,
Mother great and free

Fresher’s party

We had a fresher’s party yesterday in our institute. Got to meet 8 new research scholars. It was so much fun!! We made them kids by making them act like ones! ! Ha Ha! And they playfully did.  There were lots of moments of loud laughters. Avinash played excellent Guitar and sang. Saumya is very good south indian and chinese food cook. And I am happy she is purely vegetarian. Another boy acted like Rajanikanth and said “If I hit you, even Google won’t be able to find you!!” We had some great food and general talk.
So another batch of enthusiastic youth set out to discover the sky! Only sky is the limit!
